IDIS appoints National Distribution Manager
Expansion continues following continued demand for high-performance IDIS total solution offering
IDIS has announced the appointment of Rob Clark to the role of National Distribution Manager based out of the IDIS European headquarters in Brentford, London.
Rob joins IDIS to focus on UK distribution sales for the IDIS total solution that comprises three highly flexible offerings. These include the company’s flagship end-to-end surveillance solution, DirectIP™, IDIS Solution Suite™, an enterprise-level video software management offering, as well as the recently launched DirectCX™, a high-performance HD-TVI offering that delivers full-HD over coaxial cabling. Rob will be responsible for leveraging and nurturing new and existing distribution partnerships while developing channel-marketing initiatives to increase value for both IDIS and its distribution partners.
Rob brings with him over ten years’ experience in the security industry, particularly in video surveillance and access control with excellent knowledge of both IP and analogue technologies. He most recently held channel and business development positions at Sony and TDSi. Rob has a strong technical sales background having worked closely with end users, specifiers and installers to design and develop fully integrated security solutions.

Rob has also held sales positions at Lucent Technologies, Avaya, Genesis and Mitsubishi. He has OND in Mechanical Electrical and Electronic Engineering plus a multitude of professional accreditations in all aspects of voice, data networking, server based technologies, application and integration management across a wide range of technology vendors
