Gallagher continues its winning ways as Gallagher makes it a Govies hat-trick. With another success for the global security technology leader announced at international security expo, ISC West in Las Vegas, Nevada. Gallagher has been named a Gold winner in the access control devices/ peripherals division of the 2015 Govies awards for its T20 Terminal with Alarms. Released in March 2015, Gallagher’s latest edition to their access control suite impressed the industry judges and outperformed other entries in more than 12 categories including; quality, design, impact in the security industry, scalability, and technical advances.

Gallagher’s T20 with Alarms received praise for its ability to deliver outstanding performance as a high-traffic control reader and system management gateway, along with its ability to extend operator control of alarms management functionality right to the door. The IP66 ingress rated T20 Terminal surpassed other entrants in the category with its impressive additional features such as the IK08 impact rating for its durability and its exceptional access decision time of 200 milliseconds while still providing superior security with IT grade authentication and encryption of controller communication.

This prestigious award win makes it the third consecutive year that Gallagher’s innovative solutions have received Govies recognition. Past years have seen Gallagher win platinum for its U.S Federal compliant Gallagher Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Solution in 2013, and its Integrated Perimeter Security Solution in 2014.
